With the new platform comes new special variants. a while back it was confirmed that ford had renewed their patent on Mach 1 sparking speculation that S550 would get a Mach 1 reincarnate. Here are the first renders based on those assumptions. We could see an S550 Mach 1 Mustang as early as 2016...

the wheels were simply taken from S197 Boss 302, probably for ease of use...

I really like how there are the two little support wires on the front of the bumper. Is there going to be a Shelby Mustang? Or is the Mach 1 going to be the performance model instead?

I'm not sure TBH. In the past ford has used BOSS 302/429 or Mach 1 above GT but below a Shelby trim.

Theres talks that S550 could get a GT350 but I have no clue what the difference would be between GT500 and GT350...

Unless the top trim GT350 is the 3.5L EcoBoost V6....

It's possible, it might even be good if they give you an option of what badge you want on the back, I would like that.

My issue was more so with the placement, placement of the Mach 1 badge like the below is much better:

They might as well and even add the same stripe on the back as that older mustang, it would help it to look much better from how I see it.
