I noticed a little corrosion on the edge of the hood on my 15 stang before I bought it. It's not too bad. It's near the front edge along the seam. I took it to the local Ford dealer's body shop for an estimate. Needless to say I won't be having it repaired there.

Anyway, the body rep that wrote up the estimate made it clear that this was a VERY common problem on the late model mustangs. If you have a Zeibart body shop nearby might be worth a conversation about a treatment. Since there isn't much demand for rust proofing in Florida I'll be shopping for a rust mitigation specialist. Here's hoping I can find one.

When you say you have some corrosion... like under the paint and bubbling up corrosion, or corrosion where there were chips in the paint?
