Got the info US dealers are not allowed to sell any mustangs to Europe as export ??

Europe is supposed to wait and can only import 2nd hand mustangs (Min 6month age and 6K Km !). These would need homologation and this would initially be refused !

Figure it out !

Anyone can confirm ?

Just received an official quotation from a Ford dealer on the East cost ! $ 35.270,-for a fully loaded Ecoboost premium.

Figure it out as they were not supposed or allowed to export them....
TPT cost would be (insurance incl $ 3K)

Adding import duties, freight, VAT would be € 37.694,-...meaning the European price needs to be around 35K.

Major concern is homologation to get it on the road.... have to figure out if it's feasable and then next step is to wait for Euro pricing to make a final decision...

Let's hope we'll get the 'Swiss franc' quotation for the confirmed Champions League cars soon...

what are the homologation requirements? Thats quite the cockup if importing an Ecoboost turns out to be better value than in country purchase my oh my! Not to mention you would get our pretty red tail lamps and sequential signals ;)

and no dumbo mirrors ;)
