Mustang EcoBoost vs BMW i8 Enhanced Engine Note

As I'm sure you know by now, the Mustang EcoBoost uses the audio system to augment and enhance the engine note. A similar system is used on the BMW i8, so TFL took the time to make a little video comparing the two systems. It gives you a listen from the inside of the car and the outside. Great if you are curious about exactly what the enhanced engine note system actually sounds like.

I like how the i8 sounds inside and out. From the outside it sounds like an older inline 6 engine from BMW....like something from their E36 line up.
