I know one of the things I am most curious about the new Mustang is its active noise control system. The system uses the car's speaker system to amplify the car's engine sounds. A journalist unplugged fuse 27 which disables the stereo and consequently the active noise control system. This gives us a chance to compare the system on to the system off. What do you think? Is there a big difference?

Same principal as noise cancelling headphones

I didn't hear any "phony" piped in vroom vroom noises:) as some suggest . All it does is cut back the engine noise in the cabin, a little. Doesn't seem to be all that effective.
