A friend of mine was at press day for our local show, he was crusing around the ford booth while they were setting everything up and he said he got a glimpse of the Ecoboost being moved. He went near expecting to hear something....

Not a thing. Mind you it was simply idling and inching its way around, but the fact that there wasn't even a burble... Kind of reminds me of the old foxbodys from 86 on. At idle all you hear is the fuel pump whining, you'd have no clue theres 302 cubic inches waiting to snap your neck

It could be that the stock exhaust is really restrictive, i'd hate it if it is quiet no matter what but nothing a straight pipe can't solve

its a 4 cylinder turbo

the exhaust note can only go so far. but it is pretty quite.

Are people upset that there isn't more of an exhaust note from the EcoBoost Mustang? I am a bit annoyed that it doesn't sound more burly, but like @BoostedStang says, it shouldn't be anything that a straight pipe can't fix.

Are you guys leaning towards adding in a new exhaust then to get a better exhaust note?
