I think the EcoBoost will be bringing in new customers mostly. A lot of those people will be younger who want a cool car but also want to keep it cheaper. Also a lot of Europeans will opt for that engine I bet. I think it will appeal more overseas.
How many will be EcoBoost?
I'm curious what you guys think the take rate for the EcoBoost will be. It will be interesting to see if EcoBoost takes from GT numbers or from V6 numbers...
These are take rates for S197:
GT Convertible: 4.6%
GT Coupe: 27.2%
GT500 Convertible: 1%
GT500 Coupe: 4.4%
V6 Convertible: 16.3%
V6 Coupe: 46.5%
Or the other option is that EcoBoost doesnt steal at all from current Mustang faithful and simply attracts its own new audience to the car?

It's not for the old school mustang guys. They will be getting the V8.
