Besides fuel economy and driving dynamics, the biggest hang up (in my opinion) to the Mustangs success vs luxury coupes has been its interior. Typically very pedestrian and pony car, the new S550 shows tons of interior promise and should appeal to your typical German Coupe shopper (not to mention hot hatches)...

Keep in mind this is the only interior configuration shown for the new S550, I am interested to see if there are other leather options available. What do you guys think, would a BMW owner be happy living with the interior of an EcoBoost Mustang?

Oh its still quite the while to wait. Production wont even begin to spool up until early July, I think deliveries are scheduled for September...

likely it's alcantara, i doubt BMW would do that. Cloth is more likely to be in the mustang

On the beemer, yea alacantra is available but only with the M sport pack which adds $$$ to the package...
