What do you think the take rate will be for the EcoBoost engine in the S550 Mustang? A good place to start is the F150, currently the EcoBoost accounts for 45% of all F150 volume, base is 10% and the remaining two V8s make up the residual.

So i think a good estimate at this point is 50% especially when you consider that the v6 wont even be offered overseas...

When people see how good the power output and fuel efficiency is, they'll know which one to go with.

I also bet sales people will be well informed and letting people know enough on their options. For a lot it will be EcoBoost or V6.
