I'm not entirely sure what this is all about, but we do know that the Ecoboost Mustang will be sharing the 2.3L I4 with the Lincoln MKC. perhaps calibration testing or emission testing? really have no idea but interesting to see the two out and about together...

Maybe its some type of comparative test. If you keep the engine constant then you can isolate some of the other variables. That would have been a pretty cool thing to have pass you by on the highway though.
no I dont think so, the MKC is offered at 275 ponies, the S550 will be north of 305. So there are differences in tuning and gearing. Whats interesting though is that the MKC will be the debut of the 2.3, so I wonder if they are simply perfecting. If the MKC 2.3 launch goes pear shaped its going to negatively affect the take rate on the EB, which is a premium option after all ;)

And consider europe where the EB is going to carry the candle....
