What's up, guys? I'm in the market for a 15-16 Eco Premium with Performance Pack. I'm stuck between auto or manual. One day I want this car to be close to an all out track car and want the auto for keeping boost in shifts but its also not as fun. Will I take a larger performance hit from the manual or is it not noticeable? I'm looking at '15 Roush Stage 1's now too because they have everything I want and they aren't nearly as expensive as sticker now. Were there many differences between 15 and 16? I think it may be worth the $4k price difference but 17's are also coming out soon, should I wait for that? I can buy Ford stock for X-pricing. I'm also military but that really doesn't get me much from Ford, at least that I've found. Thanks everyone already, I look forward to owning one of these beasts and being more active on the forum.

Military is worth $500 discount from Ford; it's not a huge discount but it's worth remembering.

I got X plan too, but it was pretty close between that and USAA financing. If you're insured through USAA, you should go to their webpage and see how it compares for you.

X-plan is not all that great unless you live in a big city where the Ford dealers are asking prices at, or above MSRP. I was able to buy my wife's '16 Ecoboost for LESS than X-plan pricing at my local "no-haggling" dealership.
