As deliveries of the Ford Mustang begin in the US, Australians will be happy to hear that they will be able to put their very own order in for a Mustang. Australian order books are now open, but there will still be a wait of a year till December 2015 before those orders are delivered on.
Since the order books have been opened demand has outpaced expectations with 15,000 "expressions of interest" and 1,200 firm orders. Those 1,200 orders amount to about a year's supply according to Ford Australia.
Prices haven't been confirmed yet but rumor has it that the 2.3 Ecoboost model should go for around AUD 50,000, and the 5.0 Coyote V8-powered GT should go for around AUD 70,000.
