When I did this last time to get the Lojack installed & paint & interior protectant I got stuck with a Focus, a couple years old & felt like it had been driven like it was stolen, & it felt like a punishment. I was thinking instead of points & fines for speeding or racing if people had to drive a POS like that for a week/month it would slow them down better than a fine that won't hurt their pocket.


I'm forever getting my doors blown off by some privileged BMW or Mercedes on Rt. 50 doing 90+ & I think yea they will just pay the fine & keep it up. Recently there have been several Sports Player guys in Maryland clocked in excess of 100 mph. I say let them go without a fine & stick them a "rent a wreck" for a while. What you think?

Haha! Awesome idea mate! I'm surprised that they put you in a vehicle that's obviously in a much lower class than your current vehicle, but perhaps it was based on what they had as a spare to offer you? Perhaps next time (hopefully no next time though) you can ask them what else they have as a replacement and see if they can get you something better!
