The one thing I notice they fail to give weight to is the fact that the Camaro is wearing some stellar rubber. They did another test a few weeks back between the 1LE and the Z/28 where they swapped rubber on both cars and then compared performance with stock. The numbers changed very little, prompting them to argue that it means the Z/28 is a better car than people give it credit for. It prompted me to say no, the 1LE just has excellent tires as well...

The relevant info is on the second page at the bottom. The 1LE sees marginal improvements on the Z's tires and the Z sees marginal reduction on the 1LE's tires... So conclusion is naturally both have excellent tires...

Good to know, wasn't aware of the tire situation with the both of them, since i don't pay much attention to that stuff.
