GT springs don't fit on Ecoboost?

Hello,

On the American Muscle website they say that the BMR GT Mustang Lowering Springs will not fit on the Ecoboost. Why is this? Thanks!

Well if I had to guess I'm betting that as far as the rear springs are concerned they are all the same across the model line up (GT, V6, Ecoboost), however I assume the problem is the front springs. The motor in the GT weighs more than the motor in the V6 or the Ecoboost so it requires different springs to achieve the same amount of drop.

That would be my guess. You would not get the advertised drop if you used the GT springs on an Ecoboost versus springs specifically designed for the lighter Ecoboost or V6 engine.
