I have a 2017 White with Black Top EcoBoost Premium Convertible I purchased it as a used car last fall.

I live in Wake Forest North Carolina but I spend a lot of time nearer the NC Coast at my families farm.

My friends call me Ed (although my first name is Charles).

This is my second Mustang Convertible. In the past I owned a 2001 GT Convertible that I liked very much. Unfortunately a bad knee and a young son led me to sell the car after only a couple of years. Since my current Mustang is an automatic, the bad knee is no longer a problem. My son is now old enough to be responsible for his own auto insurance. He has a 2014 5.0 Mustang GT (which replaced a 2006 V6 Mustang I bought for him to drive).

Over the years I've owned many cars. The list includes:

1) 1972 Ford Pinto - purchased new in 1972 by me
2) 1975 Datsun 280Z - purchased new by me in 1975
3) 1962 Austin-Healey Sprite Mark II - purchased used, in pieces, in 1976. Assembled the parts in the front of my apartment.
4) 1968 Austin-Healey Sprite Mark IV - purchased used for parts (but it did run)
5) 1978 Ford Fairmont Futura - purchased new in 1978
6) 1974 Jensen-Healey - purchased used in 1979
7) 1974 Jensen-Healey - purchased used in 1980 (wrecked, for parts)
8) 1973 Ford Pinto - purchased used in 1980 (after I had an accident with my first Jensen-Healey - I drove it while I repaired the J-H)
9) 1981 Plymouth Reliant K - purchased new in late 1980
10) 1981 Audi Coupe - purchased new in 1981
11) 1978 Ford Courier - gift from Father in 1982
12) 1983 Mazda 626 5 Door - purchased new in 1983
13) 1975 Jensen-Healey - purchased used in 1984
14) 1978 Ford Fiesta - taken in part payment for 2003 626 (I hate the 626, my Sister loved it, so we swapped, I got her Fiesta)
15) 1986 Mercury Sable - purchased*new in 1986
16) 1982 Toyota Cressida - came with my new wife
17) 1986 Ford Ranger - gift from Father in 1989
18) 1989 Ford Taurus Station Wagon - "demonstrator" purchased in 1989 for wife
19) 1992 Ford F150 - purchased new in 1992
20) 1996 Ford Explorer - purchased new in 1995
21) 1997 Ford Expedition - purchased new in 1997
22) 2001 Ford Mustang*GT Convertible - purchased new in 2000
23) 2003 Ford Expedition - purchased new in 2002
24) 2003 Saturn Vue - purchased new in 2003
25) 2004 Ford Thunderbird - purchased used in 2004 (only had ~3,000 miles when I purchased it)
26) 1996 Pontiac Firebird - purchased used in 2006 (for Son #2 )
27) 2006 Nissan Frontier King Cab 4x4 - purchased new in 2006
28) 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis - purchased from Mother in 2006
29)*2006 Mustang 6 Coupe - purchased new in 2006 (for Son #2 after Firebird blew up)
30) 2007 Ford Fusion - purchased new in 2006
31) 2008 Mazda 3 - purchased new in 2008 (for Son #1 )
32) 2009 Ford F150 SuperCab 4x4 - purchased new in 2009
33) 2011 Ford Fiesta - purchased new in 2011, I still own it, Son #1 drives it now after deciding he liked it better than the Mazda 3
34) 2004 Ford Thunderbird - purchased used in 2012
35) 2013 Ford Escape - purchased new in 2012
36) 2015 Ford Explorer - purchased new in 2015 (I still own this)
37) 2006 Mercedes SLK280 - purchased used in 2016
38) 1982 Chevrolet C60 Dump Truck - purchased used in 2016 (I still own this)
39) 2017 Ford F150 SuperCab 4x4 with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6- purchased new in 2017 (I still own this)
40) 2017 Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible - purchased used in 2017 (I still own this)

It is very hard to pick out the "best car" from the list, although I would say the 1986 Sable, 2001 Mustang, 2007 Fusion and 2017 Mustang were/are all more than satisfactory.

Picking a worst car is also difficult, although the Plymouth Reliant, Pontiac Firebird and, especially,*the Toyota Crssida were all horrid.

The least reliable cars included all the British cars, the Cressida and especially the Plymouth (considering it was new when purchased).

The worst*driving car (as opposed to truck) was the Cressida. It was worse than a 20 year old Chrysler product.

Cars I owned which I wish I still had include the Audi Coupe, the Datsun 280Z, the first 2004 Thunderbird and the 2001 Mustang GT convertible.

Cars I wish I never owned include the 1981 Plymouth Reliant, the 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis, the 2003 Saturn Vue, the 1982 Toyota Cressida and especially*the 2006 Nissan Frontier (my legs still hurt when I just think about driving that POS).

Of my current vehicles, my favorite to drive is the 2017 Mustang Convertible. It is a really nice car with lots of options. It is more comfortable and faster than the 2004 Thunderbirds I owned (even though it is only a 4 cylinder). The only real negative is the exhaust note, or rather lack*of any sort of exhaust note. Despite having dual exhaust, no significant/pleasant noise comes out when you accelerate. It might have the quietest exhaust of any car I've ever owned.

This is just a list of the cars I have personally owned. If you throw in cars owned by family members and/or cars that I have worked on and driven extensively, the list is very much longer. The expanded list would include multiple Toyotas, Hondas, VWs, Ford of various sorts, a couple of large dump trucks, many farm tractors and more.
