Hey everyone. I just picked up my 2016 Ecoboost last week and its great. It was a Ford Motor Company manager lease vehicle. I picked it up for 19k with 25k miles. Its a premium package with the pony package. I averaged almost 34mpgs on my first road trip. I will probably keep mods light until the warranty is up. I have a tuner but havent put it on. It was from my SHO. Its the diablo sport I2. Im looking forward to seeing what people are doing to theirs and what power its making. I come from the import world of things. I sold my 800hp evo last year and picked up another project car. So the mustang is my daily for now.

Welcome to the forums Joe! Sounds like you got yourself a nice deal on that Ecoboost.

That 34MPG you're seeing, is that rating based on what you see in the dash cluster? Just as a FYI I've manually checked every tank of gas that's gone through our 2016 Ecoboost and I've found that the MPG reported by the cars instrument cluster is highly optimistic by about 2 MPG's.

Let us know how the tuning goes with the Diablosport, most guys in here seem to be using the Accessport handheld tuners from Cobb.

Thanks! It was the best deal in the area for a 6 speed and its heading into the winter season so RWD cars tend to drop in value as well.

Thats in the cluster. I did do that math based on miles traveled and gallons put in and it was about .5 mpg less. there is variance for the 2 gallons of reserve fuel they account for.

I am not sure if I will put the Diablosport on it. Im going to call them and see what the dyno numbers are and if the tune accounts for the mode settings like normal, sport and track.
