P&P Engineering

Hello all, I'm Mac from P&P Engineering. We have a performance pack ecoboost in Oxford white that we're in the middle of taking apart and making some goodies for.

Thanks for the welcome.

I would love to be able to do that and hopefully we grow to the point where it is feasible. But right now it just isn't.

We are a really small operation and have no plans to do nicely produced videos like the much larger companies out there. We just couldn't at all be competitive with that in terms of production value. They also have it covered pretty well. Time spent on that by our small staff is time that couldn't be spent actually developing product. Someone who has a full product development team can afford to have someone step away for this.

What we have in development right now is a down pipe and exhaust - single for extremely light weight - dual for factory appearance, an adapter for a larger turbo, suspension upgrades like strut bars, possibly springs, chromoly control arms, a thermal management package, some weight reduction stuff.

And we will be prepping our car for time trial type club racing over the next year. So we will be doing a host of NASA/SCCA rules compliant modifications. If there was a demand we would build to other rule books as well.

We are setup largely as a custom shop. We have gotten into offering a product line for some other vehicles over the last year. We will have some off the shelf offerings for the mustang and are willing to take on custom work as well.

It is very unorthodox but we are floating the idea of a kick starter campaign to help us speed development of mustang parts and really get a good gauge of what the market wants instead of developing parts in a vacuum that we think owners would be interested in. We have prototyped out a few things to date so we wouldn't be starting from scratch on that.

We have a very strong reputation of delivering on our promises and making reliable products. As owner I intend to never back off of those two things even if it means we have to turn work away.

Thanks for the welcome.

Our focus is going to be on designing developing and manufacturing the best parts around with a focus on the overall system integration and very high quality standards.

As far as videos go, we don't really have the resources for that. We are a small 3 man team. The bigger outfits with larger development teams and other guys available are already taking care of that sort of thing pretty well.

What we have slated right now is a buildup of our car based on SCCA/NASA time trials type of rules. Weight reduction, mechanical grip, thermal management, and broadening the torque curve are our focuses. There are pitfalls to each of these from the factory that we see a need to be designed out.

Our plans are for down pipe and exhaust, an adapter for a larger turbo, a full compliment of fluids thermal management, flat belly pans, and a few cosmetic touches.

We have some products prototype'd out. We are evaluating the best direction to go for production.

We are setup very much as a fabrication shop. We have started offering a regular off the shelf product line for other vehicles, and intend to do the same for the Mustang. However we also are equipped to handle more custom work, full in house builds, etc.
