Horn blows when I turn the steering wheel

I've had my 15 ecobust since 1/1/15 and my general warranty is up.
Does anyone know what I should do to get it fixed. Do I need to go back to the dealership. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Sounds like the clock spring in the steering wheel may be faulty. Costs around $100 for the replacement part, installation will cost ya extra if you have someone do it for you.

Thanks for the information
Is it best to go to a Ford dealership for the repair or
Look for a specialist in electrical problems?

Well if you go to Ford for the repair it will cost an arm & a leg. Call around and see if there's a local mechanic willing to take on the job. It's really not that hard to do... hardest part is removing the steering wheel.

15 ecoboost randomly honks usually when turning

I had the clock spring replaced and it still honks Randomly. My mechanic replaced and adjusted the part and now they're ordering a new part. Does anyone have any other ideas .

Wait, so let me get this straight. The mechanic replaced the the clock spring with a new one and it didn't fix the problem so they are ordering another new clock spring?

I went back to the shop and they located the problem
Two small buttons in the airbag assembly are stuck not working and Argos is out of warranty
I have under 18,000 miles and 7 months off warranty. I'm going to check out getting my warranty extension now , if not the whole part $500. To replace. This is not a fun car now!!!
