will catless pass smog in california

I was thinking of going catless on my 2016 ecoboost. I was thinking to install a cut out in replace of my cats was think maybe if i close the cut out and go for smog test if it will pass. Would be great if someone can tell me if i have my cutout closed and take it to get smoged if i will pass. Thanks

I seriously doubt it would pass regardless of whether your cutout was open or closed. Removing the cat will increase emissions and that's what they are sniffing for.
