Adding Techron

I want to add a bottle of Techron to my next gas fill-up. Do I need to use the little spout doo-hicky that is stored in the trunk? Or is the Techron bottle long enough to get past everything in the way? If the spout is necessary, I guess I'd have to bring a small bucket or something to put the spout in before I can clean it. Thanks, Ralph.

I just checked the owner's manual (p. 127) and it looks like the funnel needs to be used.

Curious as to why you feel the need to put Techron in your tank? Do you have a habit of filling up with crappy no-name gas? Most Top Tier gas stations already have detergents mixed in with the gas.

Sometimes I stop at truck stops (Loves, Pilot). Plus, I had a few bottles sitting in the garage from a Costco run about a year ago.

Ya wonder how much any of the additives really help and which ones are snake oil. I have heard people swear by Marvels Mystery Oil and also SeaFoam.
