Euro Spec S550 Ecoboost Mustang

Here's a look at the euro spec tail lamps and rear fog light for the 2015 Euro market Mustang S550's.

Some people are absolutely livid about these! Also looks like the faux gas cap will be heading to Europe...

Why are people so mad about the taillights? They look pretty nice to me. I also think that the Mustang looks really nice in this white color.

I also don't really see how these tail lights are different from the ones we have already seen. All the pictures I can find online show the same ones.

Those eurospec tails are really nice. I know for sure a number of guys will be doing that swap. Sadly it might involve more than just the light but also the harness, a bit involved but worth it in the end.

I am still wondering what the difference is between the two different models as far as the taillights go. They look identical to me. Is it that the Euro spec ones are white and then turn red when you brake instead of always being red? What am I not seeing here?

If I understood it correctly :

Engine Off = white/transparent
Normally dim lights (front) are on in Belgium when the engine is running including the red tail lights (inner 2).
Breaking in the EU will only activate the inner 2 taillights.
The outer ones are reserved for the orange turning signals.

The famous RED mustang Tri-Bar is gone....even when lights are on.
I would expect all should be RED in ON mode and when turning the outer ones turn into orange...
These are LEDs and can have all colors. Many brands (audi, BMW are full red)

Let's see what happen and let's hope this is the Asian version ! (taillights look like 2x3 standing up rice grains anyway)

Dutch (suppose EU) Specs to be released in Holland on the 7th of sept....during a special mustang 50th anniversary event on the Zandvoort racing track.

Let' s hope other EU countries have earlier events planned and able to release more details before 7/9 (or 9/7 for US guys).

Its weird that they release specs for each country individually. I would think that the Mustang would have the exact same specs across all of Europe. Is there really going to be a difference between Britain and the Netherlands, for example?

it differs based on emission laws. Certain countries have more restrictive emissions laws meaning the engines needs to be detuned, choked in order to meet regulation.

yeah usually that's the case, at least in that case people can always get a tune done to unleash an extra bit of power if they want.
