Ecoboost Mustang Competition

The new 4 cylinder mustang brings a new breed of competition towards the Mustang.

The ecoboost Mustang is comparable to a few more coupes out there than before.

I wonder how the Mustang will fair performance wise to the new BMW 4 series?

What about the the new Lexus RC350?

How I see it, when it comes to straight line runs, the mustang will be a great cheaper options but with overall driving, straight line, turns, etc....the BMW and RC will smoke the stang.

LOL you're crazy. The last Mustang with the Coyote 5.0 could hang with the M3 on track even with its live rear handy cap.

The Ecoboost 2.3T will absolutely smoke the 428i as well as the RC350

I see the Mustang in a league of its own. Other muscle cars are not up to par right now with the performance figures that the Mustang puts down. Once the new Camaro comes out it will have another direct competitor, but right now its is either cheaper than the luxury sedans that it an be compared to, or it is better than the cheap sedans that you can get instead.

I think the styling helps a bunch too. Making it sleeker and smoother appeals it to more people.

it does. i just hope as they get into designing the special models like Mach 1, GT's, etc that they keep it true to the old school and don't make it look like some teenagers riced out civic
